In 2022, we once again analyzed the consent data of over 250 websites with around 500 million visitor sessions and compiled our findings for you.
This study analyzes the effects of content banners on the quantity and quality of the data collected in web analytics.
In particular, it examines the extent to which consent banners provide sufficiently significant data for data-based decisions.
The study was conducted on the basis of a representative website sample over a six-month period in order to avoid bias due to seasonal effects.
Sample: 275 random, German-language websites from all sectors (B2B and B2C)
Scope: approx. 500 million visitor sessions
Period: 01.01.2022 – 30.06.2022
